Thilakavathi, a trailblazer in Tamil Nadu, India, is not only the first female IPS officer from the state but also an acclaimed author. Serving as the Director-General of Police, she made history in 1976 when she became Tamil Nadu’s first woman IPS officer. Beyond law enforcement, Thilakavathi is a literary force, contributing over 300 short stories, novels, and poems. Her engaging writing style, showcased in the award-winning novel ‘Kalmaram,’ earned her the prestigious ‘Kalaimamani’ literary award from the Tamil Nadu government in 2005.

His educational journey led him to pursue a B.E. in metallurgy at the esteemed Salem Government College of Engineering. However, it was his unwavering passion for nature that propelled him into a remarkable journey of environmental stewardship.Fueled by a deep concern for the environmental pollution plaguing our world, Manimaran found his calling in tree cultivation.Recognising that the solution to environmental pollution lies in the simple yet powerful act of planting saplings, he dedicated himself to this noble cause.
